Claude Video Studio is the skill I use to make most of my own Reels and Shorts. You give it one line, and it:
- Writes a script with a hook in the first two seconds.
- Picks a visual style (kinetic type, explainer, or product demo) or uses the one you ask for.
- Records a voiceover, or captions only if you'd rather not.
- Renders a 1080×1920, 1920×1080, or 1080×1080 MP4.
Who it's for
Creators and builders who'd rather ship ten short videos a week than spend an evening in an editor. If you can describe the video, you can make it.
What makes it different
- Styles are plain Markdown. Open
styles/kinetic-type.md, change the rules, and the next render follows them. - It checks its own work. After rendering, the skill samples frames, scores the pacing, and re-renders weak scenes.
- No subscription. It runs on your machine with your own keys.
